DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY

With 20 years of IT infrastructure and project management experience, I turned my focus and skills to real estate in 2017. It wasn’t an obvious choice for me given my unease with community distrust in real estate agents, but when I was approached to join an agency in Sydney’s South West residential growth sector, who valued my strong relationship skills and authenticity, an enduring desire to do things differently was too much to ignore.

As early as five years old I’ve been driven by doing things differently and maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset. So it was probably no surprise to my family and friends that when I opened my own agency in my local North West area, I was determined to be tech-savvy, client-centred, and push the boundaries of your larger real estate agency brands.

By no means does a smaller agency mean that I think small. With experience in sales from $1M – $20M+ land parcels, and a personal investment portfolio of my own, I created Green Acres Realty to reshape the vendor and purchaser experience, and build a brand in the North West that residents are proud to say is their local agent, their neighbour, their friend.

Green Acres signifies my dream property. Rolling hills, lots of trees, a river in the background, local wildlife and a place where my wife and I can let the dogs roam (no more scheduled walkies!). Green Acres is what I imagine when I think about enjoying the fruits of my labour.

ENGLOBO

Englobo means that a parcel of land has been rezoned (often this is to allow for more housing – i.e. houses or apartments, or what’s often called low, medium and high density housing).

With six years experience selling rezoned properties of 3 – 5 acres, and sales of $1.5M to $20M+ in Sydney’s South West growth sector, it’s fair to say that I know a think about englobo real estate.
